Enhanced Constructability Using 4D Plus Modelling in Brownfield Sites

In the oil and gas industry, operations in greenfield sites are straightforward. However, there increased risks, such as damage to existing facilities, unknown site conditions, other complexities brownfield sites. addition these physical task scheduling is also complex, vessels need be replaced during a turnaround. To mitigate risks of conditions realize truncated schedule for Saudi Aramco’s operations, 3D laser scanning was combined with modeling, clash detection, time. This integrated approach minimized shutdown period, which resulted cost savings, heightened safety, enhanced stakeholder communications.
